PLANT CONTROL SYSTEMS

By making use of Plant control management system a very efficient solution can be achieved. The AIR CONTROL 4 can be incorporated as part of a Multicontrol system / management console that will make compressors stop and start depending on demand, and create an efficient set-up.

This together with the use of variable speed compressors, means producing the exact amount of air requirements for the requirements needed.

 

By using the AIR CONTROL 4 in a Multicontrol system:

  • Up to 10 compressors can be managed together
  • Any make of compressor (with suitable hardware)

  • Configuration of the running mode from one single controller: load/unload or variable speed.
  • Use of a weekly schedule with possible selection of two pressure bands.
  • Every running parameters can be manually modified
  • Auto restart (Security code protected)
  • Remote control and default report.

  • Dryer coordination for better dew point

  • Line Voltage Limits
    • + 40 % to - 30 % of the nominal supply voltage.

  • Supply drop-out
    • The device will operate without disturbance with a supply voltage drop-out of 40 ms every second.

  • Degree of Protection of Enclosure and Connectors
    • Degree of protection at the front of IP 55 and at the back of IP 23, both according to IEC 529. Other devices have an overall protection of IP 23.


Communication "Master-Slave"

  • Each AIR CONTROL 4 has a sequencer function built in
  • Control from 2 to 4 compressors, 2 pressure sets possible
  • The Master-Slave basic function is to maintain the air net pressure in a defined and narrow band while maintaining equal running hours on the machines attached.
